Pedorthists are orthotic and footwear professionals trained in the assessment of the lower limb and biomechanics. We have been specifically trained in the design, manufacture, fit and modification of orthotics and footwear to address pain, abnormalities and debilitating conditions of the lower extremities and feet.

 

BPOTC has been successfully treating patients with a variety of needs for over 20 years in the Westman Area. In addition, having the only Pedorthist in Brandon, we specialize in providing custom orthotics, footwear and footwear modifications, knee and ankle bracing, Richie Braces, Richie Gauntlets and custom compression stockings. BPOTC is trained to utilize the Ossur Smart Measure for knee bracing. We have extensive experience using a Plaster of Paris Casting Method or the Paris Podiatric Scanner to provide the most accurate fit for your custom orthotic, footwear or bracing needs.

That friendly voice on the phone is Shannon Scramstad, a welcome addition to our BPOTC team. She is ready at reception to answer any of your questions and to provide you with the information you need.

 

Therapist Christy Chandler obtained her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and is a Certified Pedorthist. She has been recently recognized in a national publication - Pedorthic Quarterly. Born and raised in Brandon, Christy has been an occupational therapist for over 10 years, and is happy to be able to offer her skills to the residents of Brandon and Area.

 

Leanne Austin has been a fantastic addition to BPOTC. She is an exceptional occupational therapist, who brings many years of experience in offering her patients the very best of pediatric occupational therapy services.

 

Welcome to the team Kellie Herbert! Kellie brings a wealth of experience in all things Occupational Therapy. Her current interest is pediatric services, but she also brings outstanding skills in the areas of home assessment, equipment prescription, and ergonomic assessment.
