HOW LONG WILL MY CUSTOM ORTHOTICS LAST?

The expected life span of our custom orthotics is 3-5 years. The top cover on the orthotics can be refurbished as needed so you can continue to use the same pair.

ARE CUSTOM ORTHOTICS COVERED UNDER MANITOBA HEALTH?

No, however, most private insurance companies have custom orthotic coverage. It is always best to check with your insurance carrier to determine their requirements for coverage. A prescription from your doctor is frequently required.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE UNTIL I GET MY CUSTOM ORTHOTICS?

Typically the orthotics are ready for fitting in 2 weeks from your initial assessment.

DO I HAVE TO COME TO A FITTING APPOINTMENT?

We ask that all first time clients, and clients that have been re-casted, attend a fitting appointment. This is to ensure a good fit of the orthotic and to address any questions. Duplicate or refurbished pairs can be mailed out or picked up.

WILL THE ORTHOTICS FIT IN ALL OF MY SHOES?

Orthotics are designed to fit best in extra depth shoes

that have a removable insole. There is now a wide variety

of athletic shoes, work boots, casual shoes and sandals that will accommodate custom orthotics. We will review shoe options and provide you with a list of recommended shoes at your fitting appointment.
